Do You Think A Md Doctor Had To Ever Go To Tutoring Through Out Their College Career?

This is a dumb question i know, but a serious one. Im currently in college and taking the Pre-Med route but the thing is i don’t know if im smart enough for it. Like i want to become a doctor and right now the chemistry is not hard but challenging and i feel stupid if i go and try to get tutoring. Any doctors or Pre Med majors ever had a close experience?

Of Course. I am sure many have.
I wanted to be a Orthodontist to but I got depressed when I nearly failed CHemistry. And my teacher told I should reconsider my career pathway because I was not doing good in it or geometry. That put me downnnnn.
But what motivated me was seeing another answer up here about how a friend’s friend was bad in math but he really wanted to be a doctor. He got a tutor and worked very hard and became a doctor.
Now I want to do forensic pathology so I am trying to get all the help I can get or pre-read on certain things.
Oh yeah and next semester, I am going to retake chemistry with the intention of doing way better.
Oh yeah and don’t feel stupid about extra. There are times that I wish I went for help and I didnt go. I regret that now.
I care less what people think about extra help, after all, with the help you could possibly be the best in the class.

Yes.
I’m not a med student, but I am a mechanical engineering student (which I think would make for a good comparison as far as difficulty is concerned), and I am in the top 5% of my class. That being said, tutorials have been invaluable to me during my college career. Don’t let an irrational fear of embarassment keep you from becoming what you want to be. Not everything is going to come to you naturally.
