do you have to report how much you make even if you’re just privately tutoring?

Graduated from college not too long ago, and figured i’d make some money on the side, while i study for my lsat’s. i usually get paid cash by families. I make quite a bit… that’s why i’m asking. Probably close to 2500 a month. Just doesn’t feel like a real job at all though.

from what i remember…
if you make over $10,000 then you do need to claim it.

Technically you are suppose to report Everything you earn to the IRS…. Even what you make private tutoring. Even if you mowed lawns….
As a side note…. did you know you are suppose to include the value of something you barter as income?
