Discounts for the mac book pro?

I’m looking into getting a new laptop, preferably the Macbook Pro 13 inch. But I am a doctoral student with no source of income and Macs are expensive. I know that as a student I can get a $100 discount, but I’m wondering what other discounts might there be? Or if there is a place where I can purchase this new laptop more cheaply than from the Apple web site or store?
Any suggestions?

Typically the education discount is the best one. There are corporate discounts too but they’ll be a little bit less. Far as I know Apple won’t let you combine discounts on the same laptop either.
Other ways to save on a Macbook Pro are: look for refurb models at Apple, look for discounted older models online, check eBay for used models.
