Did your college/University grades affect your ability to find a job after graduation?

For most people I’ve spoken to, their final GPA (grade point average) hasn’t much affected their ability to find work after graduation in their chosen industry. Some pointed out that experience in their chosen field was more important – how did you find job seeking after graduation?

Grades aren’t too important because most people know that you have to have an overall 2.0 gpa (C) from most colleges to graduate. Now if you graduated with honors or anything special you can add that to your resume. And if you’re proud of your gpa you can list it on your resume. I guess an employer might ask but I have always had my GPA on my resume so they never needed to.

To the best of my knowledge you should only mention your GPA in a resume, if your score is good enough to be mentioned. If it is not, just omit it. But to be honest, I don’t think it makes a difference.
