First, you will be applicable to all student discounts. Second, and which is more important since you going to college in aerospace engineering, I would say you will need a laptop with high specification ( Since I am not a student of the field I cant answer what requirement should it have ). If you wait until you are in university, I guess you will be able to say what laptop will help you more. I personally would suggest to wait until you go to the first year of college.

Your going to be using it a lot and if you don't like it then your not going to want to. And you definitely don't want your battery to be constantly failing and having to recharge.
