Choosing colleges to apply too.?

I can only apply to 3 of the following. Which should I choose and why? This question is for a friend of mine who has really good SATs and he wants 3 of “the big 5″ on his college list – i don’t know how to answer him because I’m not applying to those and my parents went to public colleges…
-Harvard
-Yale
-Princeton
-Columbia
-Stanford
he wants to do undergrad liberal arts, major undeclared. He has an inclination towards Physics and Art.

I really think it should depend on what he is studying. While all of those colleges are very impressive, he should apply to the three best schools for his program

If he wants to be a doctor, Harvard all the way, they have an AMAZING medical school.
then i would say for anything else, Yale or Princeton.

Well Harvard and Princeton are currently ranked the best universities in the US. Followed by Yale, Stanford, Cal Tech, MIT then Columbia. But it should really be on what he wants to study and which schools have the best program for it.
Anyway, your friend should make his own decisions and do research if he wants to get in!
