Choosing a college..need advice?
Okay so I’ve gotten into 3 colleges so far and im 100 percent sure i will make my forth. Im just not so sure where i want to go now. Since I was a freshmen i have been completely in love with the university of miami and always knew that i would go there. But i would be the girl to become Absolutely crazed over some boy and wanna stay with him, so i applied and got into UNC Charlotte in less than a week. I just want some other ways to think about it all.
I’ve been accepted at:
University of Miami*most expensive
University of North Carolina at Charlotte*nearest him
University of Central Florida
and most likely University of Florida
Iknow it sounds wierd but due to some family issues I wont deal with them for a while after i graduate. Its prob for the best so they are not that mush involved. I acknowledge UNCC is a ood school also.
He was supposed to go marines but got sick. He was given the choice to stay or come home and well…he missed me. Since he went to boot camp thou he is a lil messed up on applying to college. He wouldnt make it at Miami

Do not choose the school that is nearest to your boyfriend, hun. I know being closest to him may seem like the most important thing in the world right now, but you will regret it if you choose your school based on where he goes. Think about it: what happens if you guys break up? That would be awkward, plus it’s possible that you would get upset enough that you would want to transfer to another school. Do you even like UNC as a school, or is it just because he goes there?
You said you were in love with University of Miami, so I think you should go there, if the fact that it is more expensive isn’t too big a financial burden on your family.

Go to UF. It’s the most flexible choice that will give you the most options in life.

I understand that you want to be with/near HIM, but you need to consider the fact that your education, your future, must be about YOU.
Practically speaking: There’s spring break, there’s Amtrak, there’s bus lines, and phone lines.
Socially: You’re going to meet so many new people, have a shot at some many activities, and the world is not going to end bc of some miles of distance between you.
Unless you have an engagement ring, a wedding ring, or a promise ring (and even then), it’s vitally important for girls and young women learn to stand on their own, as well as their own two feet.
You’re still growing and maturing, developing your personality, experimenting, discovering likes and dislikes–it’s a good thing having time and space to develop yourself OUT of HIS shadow and out of his orbit.

Go to the school that is best for you and your major. Go to your fist choice. Forget the boy. Sorry, but in all honesty you could break up before even going to college in the fall.
And why doesn’t he apply to University of Miami and follow you!
