Can I go to college have a job and still find time for myself?
Question by Unrivaled BR: Can I go to college have a job and still find time for myself?
I am a very active person, and now that I’m about to start college I’m afraid I will be sacrificing too much. Is it possible for me to go to school have a job AND still have time for my “me time?”
If so then how? How did you deal with this? Any personal experience and insight will be much appreciated.

You can’t work full time and still go to college full time. Its impossible. Students either work part-time and go to college full time or part-time or they go to college part-time and work part-time. Its really hard and almost impossible to do both.
One option is to do work-study at your college, because they limit your hours to 20/week and you can still go to your classes and have time to yourself. Either that or get loans and live on them until you graduate from college.

Is it possible? Absolutely. You’ll just need to become a master of time management. You may want to only work part time until you see exactly how much time your classes and studying take up. From experience, I know that for me personally, I can handle 40 hours a week at work if I’m only taking 8 or fewer credit hours. 12 credit hours, I need to be only working 30 hours a week. That allows enough time for studying, work, sleep, and me time. You may have to experiment some to find the best fit for you. Good luck!
