Best Way To Learn Langauge: Private Tutor Or Community College Class?

I am currently a High school junior and want ot learn a language from scratch. If I am motivated will it be faster to learn from a tutor or the community college night classes?

Definitely go to the class. You will be able to interact with other students and practice the language more frequently than with a private tutor. Depending on what language it is, you can also use outside resources such as TV channels, newspapers, internet, etc… Perhaps plan on traveling to a country that speaks the language! That is the BEST way to learn a language- immerse yourself in it.
