I graduated a year ago and am no longer interested in getting a job related to my degree. The only jobs I have experience in are office/administrative positions. I feel like such a loser that I can’t find a “real” job after college. Is this normal? Should your work or job make you who you are? I get jealous of people who have jobs related to their degree because they’re fulfilling their dreams and I have not. Do you look down on others who have college degrees but are working in administrative positions or something of that nature?
Well having a bachelors degree is a good thing because most employers want someone with a degree no matter what it is. So no, I did not just use my parent’s money and go into debt for nothing.
I was thinking of going back to school but I just don’t know if it would be worth it. I’ll be in even more debt afterwards and there’s no guarantee I’ll find a decent job right away without some years of experience in that position. By the time I get my master’s I could be at a higher paying job versus a job I could possibly get after my master’s that doesn’t pay as well…
